Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technology verticals
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and market disruptors
- Lead cross-functional workshops on future scenarios and risk mitigation
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify acquisition targets and startups
- Analyze geopolitical and socioeconomic impacts on technology adoption
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and biotechnology deployments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning or corporate innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
- Published author or frequent speaker at industry conferences
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (preferred)
