Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and technological disruptions to forecast market shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps
- Author visionary whitepapers and thought leadership pieces on 2026 industry landscapes
- Advise executive leadership on strategic investments in next-gen technologies
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and innovation pioneers
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting future innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFMP, CFP) strongly preferred
