Responsibilities
- Analyze macro-trends (AI, climate tech, quantum computing) to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for clients in finance, healthcare, and manufacturing
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-readiness strategies
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' reports with actionable predictive insights
- Identify disruptive technologies and investment opportunities for portfolio diversification
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for 2026 challenges
- Represent Horizon at global futurist forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or future studies
- Published thought leadership on 2020s technology or societal trends
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategic pivots
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ years of future-oriented strategy implementation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
