Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain multi-year trend maps for 2026+ scenarios across tech, social, and environmental domains
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable strategic initiatives
- Produce quarterly horizon scanning reports with quantitative impact assessments
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions using emerging technologies
- Build and curate an external expert network for trend validation and scenario testing
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with data-backed narratives
- Integrate ESG and ethical foresight frameworks into all strategic planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex concepts
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFMP from APF) required
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives
- Experience working with C-level executives in tech or Fortune 500 companies
