Responsibilities
- Architect long-term technology roadmaps aligning with 2026+ industry disruption
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and research teams
- Develop patentable frameworks for next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Present strategic foresight reports to executive stakeholders and venture partners
- Partner with academic institutions to shape future research priorities
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI development, synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant technical field
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in trend visualization tools
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech/innovation publications
- Experience securing $1M+ R&D funding for experimental projects
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or equivalent strategic planning framework
