You'll work in our state-of-the-art Austin hub, collaborating with pioneers in AI, biotechnology, and sustainable energy to develop actionable roadmaps for 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends, technologies, and disruptors impacting 2026 landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for C-suite executives on future market shifts and competitive landscapes
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Author thought leadership reports and scenario-planning models for global stakeholders
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and academic partners across innovation ecosystems
- Translate complex future projections into actionable business strategies with measurable KPIs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, technology adoption curves, and disruption modeling
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-back strategies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS, CFS) or equivalent professional credential
