Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and data modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for anticipated societal and industry shifts
- Establish KPIs to track emerging tech adoption and competitive disruption vectors
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or corporate foresight
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi method, and technology roadmapping
- Proven track record of predicting industry disruptions (provide portfolio)
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI ethics, biotech convergence
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
