Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, societal, and economic trends to forecast market shifts through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Author white papers and thought leadership on ethical tech governance and future-proof business models
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for climate resilience, accessibility, and human augmentation
- Advocate for responsible innovation while balancing disruptive potential with societal impact
- Maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, futurism, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, neurotech, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
