Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2026
- Develop and publish strategic foresight reports with actionable recommendations
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for long-term business resilience
- Lead innovation workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track progress quarterly
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Manage relationships with futurist think tanks and academic institutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact
