Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic roadmaps by analyzing emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional scenario planning workshops to model future business environments and competitive landscapes
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ industries to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Present future-vision briefings to executive leadership and boards with data-backed strategic recommendations
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Champion innovation culture by mentoring teams in future-thinking methodologies and strategic foresight
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports influencing company-wide R&D priorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership role
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology assessment methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (articles, books, white papers)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through organizational transformation initiatives
