Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic trends, technological disruptions, and geopolitical shifts to develop 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for executive teams across diverse industries
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives on AI, biotech, climate resilience, and quantum computing implications
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Build and maintain proprietary trend intelligence databases using advanced analytics tools
- Advise clients on innovation portfolio allocation and future-proofing operational models
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning methodologies and futures literacy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism
- Proven track record developing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for multinational corporations
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., AC/FS, WFS) strongly preferred
