- Analyze global geopolitical shifts, regulatory changes, and technological convergence points
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future human needs
- Produce annual 'Horizon 2026' reports for investors and stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (biotech, AI, nanotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills to C-suite audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) required
