Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market trends through 2026
- Develop quantitative and qualitative scenario models for 5-10 year strategic planning
- Facilitate executive workshops on emerging risks and opportunities in global markets
- Author quarterly futures intelligence briefs for board and investor audiences
- Manage a portfolio of innovation pilots with $5M+ annual budget
- Build and mentor a high-performing foresight team across 3 continents
- Represent the company at Davos, CES, and premier futurist conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech impact (e.g., AI ethics, quantum computing)
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of influencing C-suite decisions with futures insights
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Experience scaling foresight functions in Fortune 500 environments
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic preferred for global stakeholder engagement
