Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI) and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Design strategic roadmaps for future-proof product portfolios integrating emerging tech with human-centric design principles
- Champion ethical frameworks for AI/automation deployment, ensuring alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to embed foresight into corporate strategy and R&D pipelines
- Develop scenario-planning models for climate resilience, demographic shifts, and geopolitical volatility
- Present future narratives to stakeholders through immersive storytelling and data-driven visualizations
- Mentor cross-functional teams in speculative design and systems thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D with portfolio demonstrating 5+ year predictive accuracy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent (MIT Media Lab, Singularity University preferred)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI systems
- Proven track record developing ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation protocols
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature Futures, IEEE Spectrum) or major tech conferences
- Proficiency in foresight tools: Delphi method, cross-impact matrices, and Monte Carlo simulations
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and scenario planning software (STEEP, Causal Mapping)
