Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global technological, economic, and societal trends impacting 2026 through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating emerging technologies (quantum AI, synthetic biology, neuro interfaces) into core business operations
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and executive teams to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and market disruption briefs for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish early-warning systems for emerging risks and opportunities in the 2026 technology landscape
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal culture of anticipatory innovation
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (Master's/PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercialized products or strategies
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Flourish) and strategic planning software
