Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term corporate objectives and market disruption patterns
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to translate foresight insights into R&D priorities and investment decisions
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for cross-functional teams to prepare for alternative futures
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on technology evolution and future-proofing strategies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to accelerate prototyping of next-gen solutions
- Mentor internal teams in futures-thinking methodologies and adaptive innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-ready business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning techniques
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts into compelling narratives
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management (e.g., CFIP, CIPM) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented innovation strategies
