Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and prioritize emerging technologies, market disruptions, and societal trends impacting 2026's business landscape
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainability breakthroughs
- Translate foresight research into executable strategic plans with measurable KPIs and ROI projections
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineering, product, and leadership teams to align on future opportunities
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academic partners, and industry disruptors
- Champion agile innovation methodologies to rapidly prototype and validate future-focused concepts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Business Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, corporate futurism, or technology consulting with proven 5+ year planning experience
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their market implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data from diverse sources into strategic insights
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Strong facilitation skills with experience leading executive-level scenario-planning workshops
- Published thought leader or recognized speaker in futurism, innovation, or strategic foresight communities
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
