Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AI convergence
- Develop predictive frameworks for 2026 market disruptions and societal trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future foresight into product roadmaps
- Author quarterly 'Future Briefs' for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA
- Manage innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 challenges
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published work on emerging tech trends (IEEE, Harvard Business Review)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis
- Proficiency in AI-driven forecasting tools (GPT-4, Palantir, etc.)
- Experience securing federal grants (NSF, DOE) for future-tech initiatives
