Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy, aligning with UN SDGs and exponential tech trends
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Scenarios' workshops with engineers, designers, and policy experts
- Produce quarterly horizon-scanning reports on disruptive technologies (quantum, AGI, neurotech)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for innovation velocity and future-readiness across 12 business units
- Represent Horizon at Davos, Web Summit, and premier futurist forums
- Mentor junior futurists via our 'Future Leaders' incubator program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy/innovation with Fortune 500 or scale-up tech firms
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent certification
- Published thought leadership in exponential technologies or scenario planning
- Expertise in technology adoption curves and emerging market analysis
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives ($50M+ impact)
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for disruptive technologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Fluency in at least one strategic foresight methodology (e.g., Delphi, STEEPLE)
