Responsibilities
- Forecast disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026 using AI-driven trend analysis
- Develop innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech verticals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align executive teams on future-proof strategies
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into development lifecycles
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at global innovation forums
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio for high-impact pilot projects
- Mentor junior futurists using Horizon's proprietary foresight methodology
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or technology R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging tech: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or space tech
- Proven track record of scaling breakthrough innovations from concept to market
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent advanced degree
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js)
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term transformation
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurism or technology journals
- Fluency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi Method)
