Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts by 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to foster future-thinking culture
- Produce thought leadership reports and predictive models for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions
- Analyze geopolitical and socio-economic factors impacting technological adoption
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology planning
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and predictive modeling
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from World Future Society) strongly preferred
