Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast disruptive technologies with 3-5 year horizon impact (2026-2028)
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients in emerging tech verticals
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and executive teams
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership for industry conferences and publications
- Quantify market opportunities using predictive modeling and trend analysis
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate next-gen talent pipelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating trend forecasting for 2020-2025 (published work preferred)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI ethics, neurotech, or synthetic biology
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Experience presenting to C-suite audiences and influencing strategic decisions
- Published author or conference speaker on future technology trends
- Validated ability to translate complex concepts into actionable business strategies
