Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ impact
- Architect innovation roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Champion cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging physical and digital ecosystems
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and lead a dedicated innovation incubation team
- Secure patents and intellectual property for breakthrough innovations
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify acquisition opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or strategic foresight roles
- Proven track record in launching market-disruptive products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism domains
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets
