Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, bio-digital systems)
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
- Author white papers on future technology ethics and regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record in developing next-gen technology roadmaps (2018-2025)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience securing government grants and venture capital for experimental projects
- Strong understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or Arabic for international partnerships
