- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for R&D collaboration
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Manage innovation budgets and resource allocation for future technology initiatives
- Monitor regulatory landscapes affecting emerging technologies and adapt strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation management with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain, sustainable tech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
- Published research or patents in future technology domains preferred
- Experience developing 5+ year technology roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Strong network in Silicon Valley tech and academic ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex technical concepts
- Certification in emerging technology frameworks (e.g., IEEE Foresight) a plus
