Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with global market forecasts
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 5-10 year commercialization potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and government partnerships
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for next-generation breakthrough technologies
- Present future-focused briefings to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers, keynotes, and media engagements
- Manage $50M+ innovation budget across quantum, bio-computing, and climate-tech verticals
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven 10-year forecasting success
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or climate tech
- Track record of launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Deep network within DARPA, IEEE, or World Economic Technology Councils
- Published author in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Experience scaling teams from concept to commercial deployment
