Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum AI and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype next-gen tech solutions
- Conduct foresight analysis on tech disruption trends across healthcare, energy, and manufacturing
- Partner with UN agencies and governments on ethical AI governance frameworks
- Secure $50M+ in innovation grants and venture capital for moonshot projects
- Present tech strategy to C-suite executives and global policy forums
- Mentor PhD researchers in applied futurism and responsible innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Published research in Nature, Science, or IEEE on quantum/AI systems
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for AI, blockchain, and biotech
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants or EU Horizon Europe funding
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ patented innovations in transformative tech
