Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop 3-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype future solutions
- Present strategic technology recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption success and ROI measurement
- Monitor global tech policy developments and regulatory impacts on emerging innovations
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups specializing in frontier technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercial deployment
- Expertise in at least three frontier tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business Strategy preferred
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFTE, FTI)
- Experience building innovation ecosystems in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
