Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and predictive models for board-level decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for cutting-edge research
- Design innovation incubation programs for emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integration, etc.)
- Mentor senior leadership in adaptive strategy methodologies for volatile futures
- Oversee implementation of future-proofing initiatives across global operations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and predictive modeling tools
- Deep understanding of emerging tech trajectories (AI, quantum, biotech, climate resilience)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences and stakeholder management
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or innovation management
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives
