Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic roadmaps by analyzing technological, economic, and social megatrends
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership to prepare for disruptive market shifts
- Produce whitepapers and trend reports on AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and sustainability
- Partner with R&D to identify emerging technologies with transformational potential
- Design resilience strategies for climate change, regulatory changes, and geopolitical shifts
- Present future outlooks to investors, board members, and key stakeholders
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Economics, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or C-suite advisory roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in reputable journals or industry publications
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
