Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of orbital infrastructure strategies for the 2026 mission roadmap.
  • Analyze complex orbital mechanics data to optimize satellite deployment and repositioning schedules.
  • Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of ground control systems for high-altitude assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate propulsion systems with navigation software.
  • Conduct risk assessments for space debris and collision avoidance maneuvers.
  • Develop and refine simulation models to predict orbital behavior under varying atmospheric conditions.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in orbital mechanics or satellite systems engineering.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB for data analysis.
  • Experience with NASA or ESA orbital standards and protocols.
  • Strong understanding of Keplerian elements and perturbation theory.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
