Key Responsibilities
- Operational Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive operational plans for venue management, logistics, and service delivery leading up to and during the 2026 Games.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including government entities, vendors, and international federations, ensuring alignment on operational goals.
- Resource Allocation: Manage large-scale budgets and resources efficiently, optimizing workflows to reduce waste and maximize impact.
- Crisis Management: Implement robust risk management protocols and lead response strategies for operational disruptions or emergencies.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations adhere to strict safety regulations, international standards, and LA28 protocols.
- Legacy Planning: Work closely with the Legacy department to ensure post-Games operational structures remain sustainable and effective.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Logistics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in operations management, project management, or large-scale event coordination (e.g., Olympics, World Cup, Super Bowl).
- Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
- Language: Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Skills: Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and complex logistics in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability: Ability to make high-stakes decisions under pressure with a focus on precision and speed.
