Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and geopolitical shifts to forecast industry developments through 2026
- Develop and present strategic scenarios to guide product innovation and corporate positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-focused initiatives
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership content positioning the company as a futurism authority
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for anticipated future market needs
- Monitor competitor innovation roadmaps and disruptor landscapes
- Advise executive team on long-term strategic pivots and investment opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Assessment, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism research
- Proven experience developing scenario planning frameworks and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep expertise in AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to C-level audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Portfolio demonstrating at least two major future-focused strategy implementations
