Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socioeconomic shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams to prototype future-state solutions
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable roadmaps with measurable KPIs for executive stakeholders
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation hubs
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences on emerging technology impacts
- Mentor junior futurists and build organizational foresight capabilities across global teams
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into successful commercial implementations
- Expertise in exponential technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and foresight software
- Published thought leader with 50+ citations in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies (IEEE Global Initiative, OECD AI Principles)
