Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing products and services
- Present executive-level strategic briefings on emerging technologies and their market implications
- Establish KPIs and success metrics for long-term strategic initiatives
- Partner with R&D to integrate future insights into product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications on industry transformation
- Manage relationships with futurist networks and academic research institutions
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech disruption analysis
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent foresight methodology
- Demonstrated success in translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Futures Platform)
- Published thought leadership in reputable industry journals
- PhD or Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
