Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026+ trend reports analyzing technological, economic, and societal shifts
- Design strategic scenarios and roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for 2030 market needs
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurism forums and industry conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build our foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record of translating trends into business strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Strong background in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation
