Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and market disruptions to forecast 2026+ industry landscapes
- Develop actionable innovation roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and clean energy advancements
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients navigating digital transformation
- Author high-impact thought leadership reports published in Nature and Harvard Business Review
- Mentor a team of futurists using proprietary foresight methodologies
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for climate resilience and ethical AI deployment
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants through NSF and DARPA partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (MS with 10+ years experience considered)
- 7+ years in corporate foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on AI governance, quantum applications, or sustainable tech
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Experience securing federal research grants and managing $1M+ budgets
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/CFP) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ industry-disrupting innovations launched since 2020
