Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and market opportunities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into actionable strategies
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Build and manage a network of external futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Quantify future scenarios using predictive modeling and scenario planning frameworks
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) within product portfolios
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in corporate innovation, strategic foresight, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial products or policy frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan, etc.)
- Experience managing innovation teams or strategic foresight functions in Fortune 500 environments
