Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and present future scenarios to executive leadership, driving strategic decision-making
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Establish KPIs and metrics for innovation initiatives, tracking ROI and impact
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry think tanks
- Create compelling narratives and visualizations to communicate future possibilities across the organization
- Lead the development of Horizon Labs' 2026 innovation portfolio and resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience engaging C-suite audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation projects with measurable outcomes
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM, CFS) preferred
