Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technological, social, and economic domains to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market evolution
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into R&D priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and presentations on future trends
- Partner with product teams to embed foresight principles into development lifecycles
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in foresight, innovation strategy, or future studies with Fortune 500/tech unicorn experience
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation or policy impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field preferred
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling abilities with executive presentation skills
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi methods)
- Deep understanding of global megatrends and their intersection with business strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating past futurist projects or published thought leadership
