Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains
- Lead scenario planning workshops for disruptive market shifts and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation strategy with long-term business objectives
- Produce high-impact research whitepapers on future trends and their societal implications
- Manage a portfolio of experimental R&D projects with multi-year horizons
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of visionary thinking
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and industry forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial applications
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in high-stakes innovation environments
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, etc.)
