- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation teams on future-state blueprints
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports for executive board and investor relations
- Partner with R&D to prioritize R&D investments in neuro-interfaces and space tech
- Represent Horizon at Davos, SXSW, and MIT Future of Work symposiums
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurism journals (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and systems modeling
- PhD in Futures Studies, Complexity Science, or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Flourish) and trend-tracking platforms
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ implemented future-strategy initiatives with measurable ROI
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain for classified briefings
