Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies for all Games-time venues, ensuring alignment with the LA2026 vision and legacy goals.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, including venue operators, technical providers, and government agencies, to synchronize complex logistics.
- Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure safety and continuity during high-pressure events.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current workflows and implement data-driven improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate the spectator experience.
- Legacy Development: Oversee the transition of operational models into long-term sustainability plans for host cities and venues post-Games.
- Training & Development: Design and deliver advanced training programs for operational staff, ensuring a high standard of readiness across the organization.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in large-scale event operations, sports management, or venue management for major international events.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Sports Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Project Management: Professional certification such as PMP, PgMP, or LEED AP is highly desirable.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex strategies to C-level executives and diverse audiences.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
- Language: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a strong plus for this role in Southern California.
