Responsibilities
- Lead CRISPR-based gene editing projects targeting rare genetic disorders
- Develop novel bio-manufacturing processes using synthetic biology principles
- Design and execute high-throughput molecular biology experiments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into clinical applications
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior scientists and optimize laboratory workflows
Qualifications
- PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in CRISPR/Cas9, next-generation sequencing, and single-cell analysis
- Proven track record of developing novel therapeutic candidates
- Strong proficiency in Python/R for bioinformatics data analysis
- Experience with GLP-compliant laboratory operations and regulatory documentation
- Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary research projects
- Prior publications in Nature/Science/Cell journals preferred
