You will be responsible for building high-performance graphics engines that push the boundaries of browser capabilities, creating seamless and immersive user interfaces for our global clientele.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement complex 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas and SVG.
- Optimize rendering performance for low-latency interactions across desktop and mobile devices.
- Develop physics-based animations and fluid transitions that delight users and drive engagement.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers to translate creative concepts into pixel-perfect, scalable code.
- Maintain and refactor legacy graphics libraries to ensure long-term scalability and stability.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices for 2D graphics.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D web graphics development and animation.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript, Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and WebGL.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques (requestAnimationFrame, off-screen canvas, lazy loading).
- Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Experience with 2D physics engines (Matter.js, Box2D) is a significant plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
