Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems in cryptography and machine learning
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent disclosures for novel quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum-resistant security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological quantum computing
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Clearance eligibility for government-funded research projects
