Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Conduct experimental quantum computing using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence times
- Develop quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Present research findings at international conferences (QIP, APS March Meeting)
- Lead cross-functional projects with cryptography and AI divisions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Publication record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and RF pulse engineering
- Strong background in linear algebra and group theory
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research funding
