Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with industry partners to define quantum computing roadmaps for 2026

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or IEEE journals
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Experience leading R&D teams with $1M+ budgets
- Strong knowledge of quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
- Clearance for government quantum research projects (preferred)
