Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures using superconducting qubits
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Develop error correction protocols for 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with NASA on quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum algorithm development
- Secure patents for novel quantum gate designs
- Present breakthroughs at IEEE Quantum Week 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computational Physics (required)
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in Nature Physics or equivalent journal
- Proficiency in Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Deep understanding of topological quantum computing
- Security clearance for government-funded projects
- Experience with cryogenic engineering systems
- Track record of translating theory into prototypes
