Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management: Greet patients and visitors warmly, answer phones with a professional demeanor, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage the appointment calendar, verify patient information, and send confirmation reminders via phone and email.
- Administrative Support: Handle incoming and outgoing mail, process faxes, and maintain the reception area in pristine condition.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Register new patients, collect copays, and verify insurance information accurately.
- Data Entry: Maintain and update patient records in the EMR system with 100% accuracy.
- Customer Service: Address patient concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure a high-quality patient experience.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; additional administrative training is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or administrative reception role preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Organization: Strong multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Professionalism: Must possess a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
